Biodynamic. 100% Malbec. “Forestero” is Spanish for stranger. Vines are located in the Uco Valley in the Andes Mountains between 1,100 and 1,500 meters in elevation. Vineyards are planted on pebbly soils mixed with volcanic moraines. The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with daily pump overs to ensure the presence of measured amounts of oxygen. A portion of the wine is aged in twice-used French barrels.
