Rodnick Farm (formally Antle vineyard, Chalone AVA) sits at a high elevation in a desert-like area of the Gabilan Mountains. Planted on a south facing slope below an inactive volcano, the grapes are influenced by the coastal terroir. The fruit is pressed whole-cluster into concrete eggs. Following spontaneous fermentation, the grapes are left on the lees for six months.
